On May 19, 2025, the second-ever Taft Scholarship was awarded to Mekhi Simmons, Bishop Eustace Prep Class of 2025, in honor of Rob.

In May of 2024, the first-ever Taft Scholarship was awarded to Kiara Sicilia in honor of Rob.
